Important instructions
Directions:
Remove all protective films from your watch (case back, watch band, clasp,…)
To start the watch, remove the white plastic side stopper and press the crown into the case.
Setting date:
Gently pull the crown into the first position.
Turn the crown clockwise to set the correct day of the month. Make sure there is no “click”. It is enough to pull the crown out a millimeter.
Setting time:
Pull the crown to the second position.
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the hands.
Timing:
Start and stop the time measurement with the top button. The bottom button can be used to display intermediate times during time measurement.
If you press it again, the current total time will be displayed again.
After the time has stopped, the time measurement is reset with the lower button.
If the time measurement lasts longer than one minute, the tenth of a second display stops turning to conserve the battery. What remains is the seconds display and the jet that shows the minutes.
Jet rotation:
With each time measurement, the jet also begins to rotate.
The following applies: One revolution is 60 stopped minutes.
When resetting the stopped time, the lower seconds display rotates back until the jet is in the original position.
Adjustment of the tenth and second hands (time measurement):
When the middle crown is pulled to the second position, the corresponding tenth and second hands of the timekeeping can be adjusted by pressing the upper and lower buttons.
On the one hand, this can help if one of the hands does not point exactly upwards, and on the other hand, if a time measurement should start at a certain time. (For example 30 seconds)
Safety instructions:
Keep your watch away from magnetic fields. These can cause damage to the watch and lead to inaccurate time keeping.
Avoid direct contact with body lotion, hairspray or perfume as this will get stuck in the gaps between the watch band and dirty the watch.
Clean the watch with a soft cloth. If there is dirt in hard-to-reach places, use some water and a soft brush.
The watch is waterproof for everyday use, such as washing hands or showering. However, swimming is harmful as water can enter the housing.
If you are storing your watch for a long time, pull out the crown to the second position. This saves the battery. Store your watch in a dry environment.
High temperature differences, high humidity and long exposure to sunlight are harmful. Therefore, do not wear your watch when taking a sauna or sunbathing.
Have the battery changed iAlways do this at a specialist dealer as this requires a special tool.
